A look at Canada’s “Speedball” Mike Bailey, one of the hottest free agents today. He’d make a great fit to any roster from NJPW to WWE to AEW to Impact.

Bailey is now potentially able to wrestle in the United States, having served a five year ban from trying to wrestle for Evolve Wrestling without a visa, although Combat Zone Wrestling was trying to get him one at the time.

At 30-years-old, Bailey still potentially has a lot to give to professional wrestling.

If Bailey signs with WWE, he could either be put on the NXT, NXT UK, or 205Live roster. There are currently talks that WWE has interest, and the largest wrestling company in the world would have no problem obtaining a visa.

A non-WWE option would be to open the Forbidden Door, embracing the relationship between New Japan Pro Wrestling, Impact Wrestling, and All Elite Wrestling. If he signs with NJPW, he could wrestle in the main Japan promotion and the USA addition, NJPW Strong, although Lio Rush’s AEW debut at Double or Nothing shows us that also showing up in Tony Khan’s wrestling company is not out of the question.

Ring of Honor is also an option. The company owned by Sinclair Broadcasting could position Bailey as a top babyface. He could also be a interesting option for ROH’s Pure Title division.

While wrestling fans may speculate who from WWE’s recent roster cuts may show up on their competitors television, Bailey should still be considered one of the hottest prospect today.
